Remembering Zac’s Willingness to Serve

Meet Nicholas Diggins, the 2008-2009 Zac Felkey Memorial Scholarship recipient from MSU. Nicholas is a veteran of the US Marine Corps, having served in Thailand, Australia, Guam, Iraq, Bahrain, Singapore and Kuwait. Nicholas is an Architecture major at Montana State University. Nicholas and his wife, Mindy have a son, Se’amus. Learn more about our scholarship.

Our Mission

The Zac Felkey Memorial Foundation focuses on providing need-based scholarships primarily to deserving students who are veterans, alternative school graduates or naval reservists.

Remembering Zac's Passions

Zac proudly served in the US Navy in Coronado, Bahrain, San Antonio, and Greece. He was a veteran of the Kosovo conflict. At the time of his death, he was an Individual Ready Reservist for the US Naval Reserve Unit in Billings. Zac was very proud of his service to his country. The Foundation aims to keep these passions alive by helping defray some of the cost of higher education. Learn more about Zac's life.
