Alex Cathey
Alex is the son of Bill and Sheryl Cathey of Missoula (Montana). He is married to Heather, daughter of Jim and Debbie Rennie of Lithia (Florida). Alex is currently in his fourth year of study at Montana State University (in Bozeman, MT) majoring in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. Before attending Montana State, Alex completed four years of active duty service in the US Air Force as a medical technician. Alex and Heather’s first child, Andrew James Cathey, was born in July.
Among the medical school options is Alex’s first choice: Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Alex was granted an interview there in October and is waiting to hear the results. Alex would like to continue his medical career in the Air Force once he gets the MD.
